With gorgeous illustrations and playful writing, Get Ready, Mama! is the perfect way to introduce some fun into the morning routine. “Very effectively uses the idea of role reversal in GET READY, MAMA! with a child taking on a parental role. As well as making for a very fun book, this approach strikes me as a great way to encourage children to put themselves in others’ shoes and consider different perspectives.”  Cam McIntosh ― Book Chat

A fun role reversal of the chaos of getting ready for the school day. Even as they drive to school the girl in the story is organised with a pack for her Mama to be ready …toothbrush, makeup and brush. The twist at the end of the book is very amusing. A great book to share.
